Please read these Terms carefully before using KIIT Connect. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Agreement: By accessing or using KIIT Connect, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and KIIT Connect.
By accessing or using KIIT Connect (kiitconnect.com) and any of its sub-domains (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and premium subscribers.
KIIT Connect is an online educational platform operated for students and faculty of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The Platform provides:

To use KIIT Connect, you must:
We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and suspend accounts that do not meet these criteria.
Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
One Account: You may register only one account per person. Multiple accounts may result in all accounts being suspended.
Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must not share your account with others.
Unauthorised Access: You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion.
KIIT Connect offers the following paid subscription plans:
Semester Plan

One semester of full premium access.
Annual Plan
₹299
Full year of unlimited premium access.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Activation: Premium access is activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation.
No Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You will need to manually renew your subscription upon expiry.
Taxes: Prices are inclusive of applicable GST as per Indian tax law.
IMPORTANT
All subscription fees are non-refundable once premium access has been activated, except in the circumstances described below.
Service Unavailability: If the Platform is unavailable (downtime) for more than 72 consecutive hours, you may request a proportional refund for the affected period.
Duplicate Payment: If you are charged twice for the same subscription, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
Refund Requests: Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date by emailing [email protected] with your transaction ID and reason.
Processing Time: Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Cancellation: You may stop using the Platform at any time. There are no cancellation fees. Unused subscription time is not refunded under ordinary circumstances.
Ownership: You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform (notes, reviews, posts, projects).
Licence to Us: By uploading content, you grant KIIT Connect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload such content.
Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.
The KIIT Connect brand, logo, website design, and all original content created by us are protected by intellectual property laws and are the exclusive property of KIIT Connect.
Academic materials (notes, PYQs, books) uploaded by users or sourced from public domains are provided strictly for personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not:
The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, (b) academic materials are accurate, complete, or up-to-date, (c) the Platform is free of viruses or harmful components. Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KIIT Connect, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you exceed the greater of (a) ₹500 INR or (b) the total amount paid by you to KIIT Connect in the 30 days preceding the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KIIT Connect and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you upload to the Platform.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
