Open in Chrome
Visit kiitconnect.com in Google Chrome browser.
Tap the Menu (⋮)
Tap the three-dot menu icon at the top-right corner of Chrome.
Select "Add to Home screen"
Scroll down in the menu and tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
Confirm Install
Tap "Add" or "Install" in the confirmation popup. The KIIT Connect icon will appear on your home screen.
Tip:If you see an "Install app" banner at the bottom of Chrome automatically, just tap it — that's the quickest way!
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Open in Safari
Visit kiitconnect.com in Safari. This won't work in Chrome or other browsers on iOS.
Tap the Share button
Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
"Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down in the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".
Tap Add
Keep the name as "KIIT Connect" and tap "Add" at the top-right. The app icon will appear on your home screen.
Important:On iOS, PWAs only work when added from Safari. Chrome, Firefox, and other iOS browsers don't support "Add to Home Screen" for web apps.

Is this a real app?
Yes! It's a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it behaves exactly like a native app with its own icon, splash screen, and full-screen experience. The only difference is it doesn't need an app store.
Will it take storage space?
Very minimal — less than 5MB. Unlike native apps, PWAs are lightweight and don't bloat your storage.
Will I get notifications?
